On October 3rd, Abel van der Vies successfully defended his thesis: “Scalable Brillouin spectrum engineering in Thin-Film Lithium Niobate”.

Abel addressed a significant challenge in microwave photonics by leveraging the crystalline structure of TFLN waveguides to develop customizable Brillouin filters.
